Each month, the ENLACE project staff and advisors select a particular partner school, a partner community, a university student support program, and one of the five planning components to feature on this web site. In addition, a very special feature includes ENLACE students of the month.

Selections are based on totally subjective criteria, but each selection has a special quality making it a highly valued member of the ENLACE family at Fresno State University.

The Central California ENLACE Program planning and assessment process depends a great deal on information and insights gained from members of various community groups, churches, and informal organizations that help define the uniqueness of the San Joaquin Valley.

One example of enthusiastic community support for this effort is the Rev. Father Warren Hengel of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Firebaugh shown here (center) with ENLACE's Community Liaison Specialist, John Madrid (left), and Special Program Advisor, Raul Moreno (right) who is a Director in the Division of Student Affairs at Fresno State University.
