Congratulations To Our
Winners! |

 |
Thanks to all who participated in this year's Open House
|
From the 264 registered Open House attendees, over
150 exhibit maps were received by 4:00 pm with all the stamps in
place. The drawing was held on Friday morning, the day after Open
House, during the SCT/data processing staff meeting. Here are the
winners and information on the prizes they won:

SCT would like to extend our gratitude to ValCom for their
assistance in helping to organize and coordinate many of the exhibits and
demonstrations!

Julie
Steincamp from RMA's GIS department
won the GARMIN
Global Positioning System (GPS) eMap. How perfect is that??
SCT felt this would make an excellent Grand Prize.
Here's another reason to toss out those paper maps: the
eMap. It's the size of a small, flat calculator, contains a 12 parallel
channel GPS receiver, and weighs a mere six ounces. Even with its compact
style, the eMap boasts an extra-large display for showing even more map
data and the same power you've come to expect from GARMIN handhelds—even
while operating for up to 12 hours on just two AA batteries. |
 |
The
winner of the MP3 player is Lenelle Souza from
Family Support Divison. Congratulations, and enjoy your player!
SCT greatly appreciates Samsung for donating this really cool prize.
Samsung's
shock-proof portable digital audio player 'yepp'
delivers uninterrupted, digital quality sound, even when the listener is
actively exercising as it has no moving parts. It can download MP3 files
from the Internet or other on-line services, and then the user can compile
the songs he or she wants to listen to. |

| Angela Oliver from the District Attorney's Porterville Office is the
lucky winner of the Hewlett Packard ScanJet. Our Thanks to HP for making this fabulous gift available to our Open House visitors.
HP's fast, accurate, Internet-ready color scanner for great results
every time---no experience required. The HP ScanJet 5300C color
scanner scans at optical resolutions up to 1200 dpi (9600 enhanced) and
has all the utilities you need to create professional-looking documents
easily. Touch-button operation simplifies tasks, with one-step access to
scan, copy, e-mail, and fax. Up-to-the minute technology helps cut task
time--simply push a button to start scanning to your e-mail or Web
application. The HP ScanJet 5300C offers more performance, and is easier
to use, than any comparably-priced 1200 dpi scanner.
